Please find enclosed a small envelope containing small blue fragments. Although these fragments may be shown to part of a blueberry or partial packaging, which is not a food borne illness hazard, the consumer found that these parts, along with several others to be unpalatable. Being concerned after attempting to bite into the hard item and finding others in the item at the bottom of the yogurt, the consumer contacted the MA Dept of Public Health and eventually brought the yogurt to the health department. Although it does not appear that further testing is necessary on these fragments, we are submitting this information on behalf of our citizen to complain about the quality of the product as well as to notify you of a potential quality control issue.
