These questions are as follows. 1) What type of retail use is planned, fast food, sit down restaurant, personal service, straight sales? 2) What are your plans on how the space is to be developed? 3) What is the number of parking spaces the current parking lot is configured for and being used and what percentage is available? Despite years of commercial and retail business being conducted, I was surprised to find that the building is not actually zoned for retail use. Since the entire area along Rte. 125 is retail, I would like to have the zoning modified for this building as well. Retail use would be consistent for the building, the area, and good for the town. I would be most appreciative if you would,advise me as to the course of action I need to take. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Prior to that,United Foods sold frozen goods retail as well as freezer equipment for over ten years. Also operating in the building has been dry cleaning and a travel agency. I may be able to find out more with research, but given the time restriction, I hope that you feel this information is adequate. A gift shop in the building would be consistent with its current usage, as well as a benefit to the North Andover Colni-nunity. The young couple looking to open their first business are residents of the town, and this would be an asset to this area. Please advise me at your convenience. Thank you!
