The addition will conform to current zoning requirements James H. and Gale A. Pappas 11 Young Rd. N. Andover, Mass. Reason for Application We are requesting a variance so that we can construct a 16 x 20 foot addition to be used as a family room/ T.V. room to be attached to the rear of our home. The addition well be one story wood frame. It well be no closer to the side or front set backs than is any part of the current dwelling. We need this room because with the sudden death of my father -law in July of 1994 and the subsequent addition of my mother -law to our household we are in need of more room. Now that there are three adults and two high school age children in the house, it has become to small. The new purpose family room well give our new larger family, one room where we can all gather. As a matter of imformation I have contacted all my neighbors (abutters) and explained our plans. No one has objected and in fact all have been positive.
