Chief Martineau had notified me that the EMT"s had removed Louise's daughter on a pink slip the day before and he personally had been there and heard the daughter verbally threaten to kill her for letting people in the house. On that day we found Louise to have bruises all over her left arm and one small one on her right arm.She stated that she was not taking aspirin or Coumadin, and did not know how she got the bruises. Also she had what appeared to be cigarette ashes on the front of her dress. She was not willing to engage in conversation, and stated she was fine and did not need anything. We told her to feel free to call either one of us if she had any concerns. I notified Judy Wetmore of protective services of my findings, who turned the case over to Diane Powell and I spoke to her several times that day on the phone. She was going to try to send someone out that day.She was very familiar with the case. Diane Powell's#978-946-1484. Chief Martineau and Donna Delaney were also filing a report. ebra han Page 1 of 1 DelleChiaie, Pamela 9' From: Sawyer, Susan Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 2:05 PM To: DelleChiaie, Pamela , Subject: FW: 111 Pembrook PIs print for the file thx From: Conti, Karen J. Yesterday I met a general contractor who is working on the home. He states that so far he has removed or thrown out all the rugs and furniture in the home that were unsalvageable. The walls and ceilings have been cleaned or stripped of wall paper and painted. He is going to tile the kitchen and bath floors. There are bathroom fixtures and wall rot that need to be addressed too.A licensed electrician will be brought in for electrical issues. He is a family member, who feels to be very conscientious about the issues. I believe the family still feels that Louise and her daughter should not be allowed back in their home for their own safety, but the Health Departments jurisdiction will end when the sanitary code violations are corrected. The mental health or personal danger issues are unfortunately not within my purview. I will let you know when the Health Dept. gives the property a certificate of compliance. Thank you.
