The Contractor has informed us that the Business Office is ready for inspection by you or your staff. Last week, Ware Cady and Bill Punch of R.G.Vanderweil, the mechanical/electrical engineers for the project, visited the site and also found the building substantially complete. There are no outstanding structural issues according to LeMessurier Consultants, the structural engineers. Architecturally, the building is ready for occupancy, and the few minor trim and cosmetic issues to be completed are expected to be done in the next week. Yesterday the Contractor was installing carpeting and vinyl tile in the offices and on Saturday the parking lot will be asphalted. Office partitions and some pieces of new furniture will be arriving next week and the Owner intends to move into the building over the weekend of the 29th and 30th of October. Given that schedule, we are encouraging Jackson Construction to set up an appointment with you as soon as possible so that you may schedule a walk-through.
