MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
Propeller fans provide design airflow with
minimum power requirements. V-belts transmit
power from the motor to the fan through Marley-
manufactured bearing housings. Bearings are oil-
lubricated via a remote filler cup mounted on the
front of the tower. The entire fan system
provides easy maintenance access from outside w
the tower.

Marley's standard galvanizing even meets the
U.S.Navy requirement for salt fog testing in
accordance with ASTM B-117. This proven
corrosion protection is a major reason for

1. Use this bulletin for preliminary layouts only. Obtain current drawings from your Marley sales engineer or your local distributor.
2. Purchaser to provide tower supports complete with holes and bolts for anchorage. All supports must be framed flush and level at top.
Maximum deflection to be 1/360th of span, not to exceed 1/2 inch.
3. Maximum weight occurs with basin full to overflow level.Actual operating weight varies with GPM and piping scheme, but will allways
be less than shown here.
4. Consult your Marley Sales Engineer if tower is to be supported directly on vibration isolators. Basin modifications may be necessary.
