Description:
Complaint: Received a call from a Dorothy Cress-617-257-0006 or 978-655-3676 a tenant at 1.23 Massachusetts Avenue for the 18 months. There has been a rodent infestation
problem since she has been there. It is especially bad in the winter months when the rodents(mice)get in the house for warmth. The landlord,Brian Ritterhuas set
box traps,but it has done no good,and he has not hired an exterminator. There is also a bad odor she thinks from dead mice in the walls. Mice have gotten into her
couch and had a nest of babies. Her son found a rat in the basement this past spring. There was also a mouse that ran across the living room a few weeks ago.
Tenant is planning to leave the apartment by the end of August because the landlord has not executed proper pest control,and she does not want to live in a home
with continual rodent infestation. Please schedule a housing inspection of the apartment.
