RE: Application of Patricia J. Palmese for variance
Dear Mr. Serio:
We would like to object to the request being made by Patri-
cia Palmese for a variance of the zoning by-laws to allow her to
build an oversized family suite on her property located at 15
Meadow View Road. We base this objection upon the following
reasons: the family suite as it has been described to us by the
Palmese' s is to be approximately 1, 400 square feet in area. This
is a violation of the zoning by-laws and in fact close to three
times what would normally be allowed.
In addition, we feel that the size of this family suite
would be a derogation to the neighborhood in that it is not
aesthetically consistent. We believe that the addition would
make this residence appear to be a two family residence. We also
understand that the current plans call for two separate driveways
and two front doors. -Thus, adding to the appearance that this
house is a two family residence.
We have no objection to the special permit request to allow
a family suite so long as it complies with the zoning by-laws
for the Town of North Andover.
