I did let him know that. . .If you don't have heat in the future, please call us right away. However 68 degrees is the State Regulation in MA. I did offer to do an inspection on his other complaint, (holes in the closet wall) He doesn't think that 1 violation is enough. He is being eviction at Housing Court tomorrow and was told that if he gets document from us he stands to get back almost $10,000.00 (3 months rent). However, at this time he does not want an inspection. I offered to speak to the housing specialist via phone if they have any questions tomorrow. They had a lease with an option to buy,which has since been broken due to their consistently1 rental payments,or failure to pay at all. Mr.Cote is an independent electrician and by his own admission,states that he has been in an Payments have not been consistent. In addition,there is a large hole in the Master closet where contractors had come in to install wiring. This hole was never repaired. There are also holes in th e Mr.Cote requested that he be called this afternoon,and have an inspection done before Thursday and be provided with documentation. I told Mr.Cote that th procedure for a complaint is that it is entered into the database,then passed on to the Health Inspector,and that she would call him to schedule an inspection. The timeline would be dependent on the schedule availability of the inspector,as she may already have a docket of inspections lined up. Mr.Cote states that he an e wife are not available tomorrow,except for the late afternoon.
