C.131 S.40) and The North Andover Wetlands Protection Bylaw(C. 178 of the Code of North Andover). Dear Mr. Allen: During recent routine inspections, this department observed, from the roadway, a large stockpiling area of recently cut tree debris to the rear of the above referenced property. The department is aware that a wetland resource area exists in this area of the property and is concerned that recent cutting activities may have occurred within the 25' no-disturbance zone protected under the North Andover Wetlands Protection Bylaw. Please be aware that disturbance of any kind is prohibited within this 25-foot zone. Disturbance includes, but is not limited to, grading, landscaping, vegetation removal, dumping of landscaping debris, pruning, filling, excavating, etc. Also, please be aware that any work or land alteration activities proposed or conducted within 100 feet of a wetland resource area is subject to a Request for Determination of Applicability or a Notice of Intent filing with the North Andover Conservation Commission pursuant to the state Wetlands Protection Act and the local Bylaw. I have included with this letter a plan of the property copied from our in house files showing the wetland boundary and the 25-foot no-disturbance boundary for your reference. Please contact me at (978) 688-9530 to set up a site inspection so that I may accurately determine whether prohibited activities had occurred within the protected 25-foot no-disturbance area and further discuss the matter.
