I received an email stating that the heat repair is complete.

Glad to hear the heat is no longer an issue.
Below are outstanding items I noted on Tuesday;
The new rear slider screen does not fit properly.There is too much of a gap for insects to enter as well.
The Front storm door still needs a screen and is in disrepair
f� The socket in the Living Room is still open. It looks like an old cable portal; not a usual plug.
Please let me know when these will be corrected.
Finally, I understand the completion of the basement will be properly overseen by the building inspector.Could you
please send me a copy of an agreement with your contractor stating when the basement will be completed.

The BOH list is completed all except the front door, which was order and awaiting to come in. It was a special
order due to the size. It will be schedule once in.
Other item that needs to be completed is a light fixture in the upstairs bathroom. Fixture has been purchased,
needs install. An electrician has been called and awaiting date to install. General contractor is working on
permit for basement. Has paperwork in hand and will be completing. The basement will be a few weeks out
due to general contractors other obligations but is working on fitting us in.
Heating system - heating company will be speaking to builder inspector today and obtaining permits
needed. Install will take place next Wednesday 9/24 @ 9:00am

Our office reached out to the owners and lienholders for the property at 392 Massachusetts Avenue. The owner's
father contacted us to inform us that the owner passed away and his family believes the bank has title to the property,
although we've not found that in our research. Given that no party has come forward willing to bring the property to
code,we can go forward drafting a petition. Would it be possible for inspectional services to perform an updated'
inspection of the property for the purposes of the affidavit we will draft?
We are waiting for responses from owners and lienholders of other properties we visited, and I will keep you informed
as we receive responses.

This is a follow up to our conversation of yesterday regarding ongoing compliance to the Order Letter. I
anticipate going to the premise this coming Friday to observe the repairs.
Secondly, I have to repeat my concerns regarding heat. When I conducted my inspection, I did not list
the heat as a violation as it was not heating season. However, I fully expected that this would be
corrected by September 15th;the beginning of heating season.You verbally told me that the repair is
several weeks out. If the temperatures in the home cannot maintain 64 in the evening hours and 68 in
the daytime from 7am to 1113M there will be a second Order Letter written, and if repairs are not
imminent the tenant should be given a location that the owner will pay for her family to move to during
those times.
Heating is a violation that cannot be put off. I appreciate that a full repair is being done, but as a tenant/
owner relationship exists,there is a responsibility to provide heat when the cade states.
