The following mitigation actions have been approved: • A siltation fence will be installed at the 25' No Disturbance Zone. • The 25' No Disturbance Zone will be replanted with Highbush Blueberry^'I am awaiting specifications (i.e. # of shrubs) to be determined by Steve D'Urso and approved by this department during the week of May 18, 1998. • The Buffer Zone will be seeded and mulched to prevent erosion. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Carito: This department visually observed an "alteration" that took place at the above referenced property within the 100' Buffer Zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland (BVW). The subject alteration and violation consists of the cutting and removal of trees. The term "alteration" includes the placement of fill, excavation, or regrading; and the destruction of plant life, including cutting and removing of trees or shrubs (Section H. (b,c) of the North Andover Wetland Regulations). Any work that is proposed in the Buffer Zone of a BVW is subject to a filing of a Request For Determination of Applicability (RDA) or a Notice of Intent(NOD, through the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC)(Sections III and IV of the North Andover Wetland Regulations).
