RE: Response to a Form "U" application for a proposed above ground pool.
Dear Brenda:
On May 20, 1998, staff from this department visited the above referenced property in
response to a Form "U" application that was submitted to the Community Development
office. The Form "U" application was for an above ground pool to be constructed on the
property. After the inspection was conducted, the following determinations were made.
• The above referenced property is in the floodplain t
p p y p o Boston Brook.
• Boston Brook (a perennial stream) traverses through the back portion of the
property. Boston Brook is subject to the Riverfront Act.
• There are Bordering Vegetated Wetlands (BVW) bordering on Boston Brook
which are subject to the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Town
of North Andover's Wetland Bylaw and Regulations.
• The property is located within the Estimated Habitat Zone (the dragonfly) as
determined by National Heritage and Endangered Species Program.
The proposal, if carried out, will require a Notice of Intent (NOI) filing before the North
Andover Conservation Commission (NACC). Should you have any comments, questions,
