Town Hall North Andover, MA 01845 RE: 18 Union Street, North Andover Dear -Board members,-.. -----.__-- --.--- On behalf of our clients Patrick and Leslie Cone we are submitting an application for relief from the zoning ordinance for the above-mentioned location. The applicant is proposing to construct a detached garage on the rear portion of his property. The proposed location is 16 feet from rear property line at the closest point. This will require relief from the 30 -foot rear setback requirement. The applicant wishes to locate the garage in this location in order to maintain a small backyard area between the dwelling and proposed driveway. The proposed garage and driveway location will also provide enough area for a vehicle to turn around on the property and therefore prevent the need to back out onto Union Street. We believe that the garage location is consistent with typical garages in this neighborhood_ Include with this application is a copy of the assessors map for the area, architectural plans, and the Board of Appeals plan. One mylar copy of the Board of Appeals plan and the required fee has also been submitted.
