A public hearing was held by the Board of Appeals on August 11, 1980,
upon application of Phillip J. Coppola who requested a variance from
the provisions of Sec. 7.3, Table 2 of the Zoning By-Law for a variance
from the sideline at the premises located at 234 Brentwood Circle. The
following members were present and voting: Frank Serio, Jr., Chairman; '
Alfred E. Frizelle, Esq. ; Richard J. .Trepanier, Esq. ; Nilliam J. Sullivan;
and 14aurice S. Foulds.

The hearing was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on July 24 and 31,
1980 and all abuttors were duly notified by regular mail.
There is a garage located 81, too close to the sideline. The petitioner {
introduced evidence showing that a building permit was issued and that
it appeared to be 30' from the line. When title was searched and a :I
survey made, it showed that the garage was 8" short of meeting the ;I
side-line requirements. I
On a motion made by 1'•ir. Sullivan and seconded by Mr. Trepanier, it was
voted unanimously to grant the variance as requested.
In granting the variance, the Board finds that all of the provisions of
the By-Law have been satisfied. The Board finds that the variance can
be granted without detriment to the public good nor without nullifying
