Re : Brentwood Road
Mr . Rosati;
Thank you for meeting me on such short notice on the Brentwood Road
subsurface sewage repair. Your courtesy and promptness in all phases
of this repair were greatly appreciated.
As per our discussion, it is clear that the new grades for the
disposal facility are sufficient for the intent, with the exception of
the additional fill required toward the garage side of the property.
With this fill and the addition of topsoil, there should be no
problems.
The concern expressed by the neighbor regarding additional runoff
toward his property is clearly unfounded. Runoff patterns on the
adjacent lot remain unchanged, and changes in the runoff from the
existing lot could not substantially increase offsite flow. In fact, I
seriously doubt even an incremental increase in flow.
Though I would like to assuage the abuttors concerns if possible, I
have advised my client that we are not responsible for any damage to
his property, and that we are not obligated to defend ourselves from I
superfluous charges. Clearly water cannot flow uphill, and his
concerns would seem to require this.
The Conservation Agent, Richard, had asked about the silt fence we
discussed. Please have him contact James Tierney at 603-424-0605. I
believe at 31 cents per foot it is the least expensive source
available .
Again, thank you for your cooperation in the repair of this system. I
am sure that the new installation will provide many years of good
service. Your efforts and suggestions in the process were sincerely
appreciated.
Sincerely, r
Steven Eriksen
