Place dust barrier walls sealing off living room, hallway, back mud room and family room to limit dust infiltration from the demolition. We will do everything we can to contain the dust but it is impossible to eliminate it completely. Demo. Remove wood ceiling and beam wraps. Remove hardwood flooring in entire kitchen, down to sub floor. Remove plaster walls in bay window area. Demo windows, sink and bay window. Remove outside shingles. Remove small wall where new sub zero refrigerator will be placed. Remove old wiring and disconnect plumbing. Remove window over sink in preparation for French door. Remove bay windows. Dumpster will be located in the driveway. Duct work. Extend duct work out in bay window area. Move heating vent from outside wall to cabinet toe kick, forced hot air. Move cold air return where new desk is going to be. Extend duct work for stove inside roof with roof vent. Will have to remove section of shingle and roof board in order to access pocket for duct work install. Install all duct work for fan. Re install new roof section with new roofing shingles to match old as close as possible. Framing. Frame in new opening for French door with header. Reframe bay window. Install headers. Re pipe kitchen sink to new location under bay window, removing existing piping as necessary, to re pipe gas to new stove location and vent kitchen sink through second floor and through roof. Provide and install Anderson French door units with one fixed door 74 X 82Y2" height. Door will be stone white vinyl clad on the outside and pine on the inside, with screen and snap in grid sets. Hardware will consist of solid brass hinges and handle set. Siding. Side with cedar shingles around new French door, new bay windows and platform. Platform and steps. Construct new outside 36" wide platform with pressure treated deck and framing. Remove existing seat. The platform will be approximately 37" height and go from the corner of the bay window to the end of the deck. There will be 3 or 4 treads from platform to existing deck. The stairs will be 60" wide. The Percola Trellis will have to be cut back and reframed to provide head clearance. We hope to be able to modify the old trellis. Install cabinets and counter tops per drawings, with all trim. Flooring Install 3" white maple on whit ash in kitchen and dining room with transition piece between living room and hallway. End at edge of foyer entrance. Finish will be 3 coats of high gloss polyurethane. Finish work Crown moldings around all tops of cabinets. Install new baseboard in kitchen area.
