Residence Mr, Francois Hauvillo Dear Mr, Hauville As you requested I visited the above site 6/30/08 to review the second floor modification over the open cathedral ceiling area above the living area below, This consist of an area approximately 8 feet by 11 feet -as shown ona sketch you provided. Since the area has been finished and the structural work is covered my inspection was limited to a visual inspection of the gypsum board finish applied to the ceiling. There is no indication of any distress in the area, there is no significant oraoking of the coiling gypsum board, nor is there any indication of any significant deflection of the ceiling. The lack of any significant distress indicates that the floor construction appears to perform properly for the intended use and there is no visual indication that it was improperly constructed, This opinion is basedsolely on what I vas able to observe and should not be construed as a complete review or certification of the structural adequacy of this additional work or that of the original structure.
