West, Acting Conservation Agent West Environmental, Inc. RE: 44 Equestrian Drive, North Andover Site Inspection Report On March 19, 2008, Mark West met onsite with Rick Sarro at his residence on Equestrian Drive to discuss tree cutting activities behind his house. A tree has recently fallen and he wanted to know what was allowed under the North Andover Conservation Commission Wetland Bylaws (see Chapter 178 of http://wNk-w.townofnorthandover.com/Pages/ NAndoverMA WebDocs/TownBylaw.pdf). The 25' no disturb buffer was identified for him with two flags and the tree in question is greater than 100' from the wetland. He was informed that he could cut the tree up. He asked if other trees could be cut and he was informed that he should see the advice of an arborist. He was informed that the trees directly adjacent his yard away from the slope could be cut but its preferred to leave the stumps. He was encouraged to avoid cutting trees on the slope to the wetland and told not to disturb soils on the slope.
