BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF DECISION Property: 500 Rea Street William & Kathleen McManus Date: September 10, 1997 500 Rea Street Petition: 028-97 North Andover MA 01845 Hearing Date: 9/9/97 The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Tuesday evening, September 9, 1997 upon the petition of William & Kathleen McManus, requesting a special permit under Section 4, Paragraph 4 . 121 (17) so as to allow the construction/addition of a Family Suite with the conditions that identification (pictures) of occupants, are submitted to the Building Dept. and provided that: a. The dwelling unit is not occupied by anyone except brothers, sisters, maternal and paternal parents and grandparents, or children of .the residing owners of the dwelling unit; b. That the premises are inspected annually by the Building Inspector for conformance to this section of the Bylaw; c: The Special Permit shall be recorded at the North Essex Registry of Deeds. Said Premises are land and building with property with frontage -on the East side of number 500 Rea Street, the premises affected have an area of 45, 744 sq. ft. and frontage of 150 feet which is in R-2 Zoning District. The following members were present and voting: William Sullivan, Walter Soule, John Ford, John Pallone, Scott Karpinski. The hearing was advertised in the Lawrence Tribune on , 8/26/97 and 9/2/97, all abutters were notified by regular mail. Upon a motion by John Ford, seconded by Walter Soule, a motion was granted for a Special Permit. Note: The granting of the Variance and/or Special Permit as requested by the applicant does not necessarily ensure the granting of a Building permit as the applicant must abide by all applicable local, state and federal building codes and regulations, prior to the issuance of a building permit as required by the Building Commissioner.
