Be further advised that a building permit was and is required for the alteration, addition, repair and or reconstruction of a building, of which you are in violation under the Mass State Building Code(780 CMR). Please be further advised that a construction supervisors license and a home improvement registration with the State Board of Building Regulations and Standards is also required to enter into a contract of this type. You are hereby notified to cease and desist all activities of this type until you have the appropriate licenses and apply for the appropriate permits. As i mentioned,1 already sent him a 93A letter over his failure to complete the job he started.There was no response to the 93A or my calls. 1 have since,found out that he never pulled a permit(which t thought he would do if needed)and that he is not licensed. Keith was supposed to rebuild my front steps.This would require some demolition of the old brick stoop,laying new footing+(to expand the footprint)and then building up from the footings around the Oki steps. Keith did come and do some very minor demolition and then he diamppeartd with a$1050 of my money.Ids has not returned any of my calls asking for status. 1 started tracking my calls to him around 10-18-04 although there were cnlls made to him before that date. That's it.My next step is the NA PD.
