Dear Mr. &Mrs. Martins:
Please be advised that upon an inspection at the above noted address it has been discovered
that this property" is being used for the storage of bulk material. The material in question is

concrete'block, metal duct work piping etc.Please be advised that.this type of storage is not
allowed in a residential area as it appears as though it is being used as a contractors yard.
Please contact me so that we may begin the process to remedy this in a timely manner.

10.13 Penalty for Violation
Whoever continues to violate the provisions of this. Bylaw after written notice from the Building Inspector
demanding an abatement of a zoning violation within a reasonable time,shall be subject to a fine of three hundred
dollars($300). Each day that such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense. (1986/15)

Dear Mr. Martins:
Please be advised that it has come to the building department's attention that you have signed into
a contractual agreement for home improvement at the above noted address. Be further advised
that a building permit was and is required for the alteration, addition, repair and or reconstruction
of a building, of which you are in violation under the Mass State Building Code(780 CMR).
Please be further advised that a construction supervisors license and a home improvement
registration with the State Board of Building Regulations and Standards is also required to enter
into a contract of this type.
You are hereby notified to cease and desist all activities of this type until you have the
appropriate licenses and apply for the appropriate permits.
Please contact this department so that we may begin the process to rectify this matter in a timely
manner.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for taking my call today.Here is the estimate/contract Keith and 1 put together.
As i mentioned,1 already sent him a 93A letter over his failure to complete the job he started.There
was no response to the 93A or my calls.
1 have since,found out that he never pulled a permit(which t thought he would do if needed)and that
he is not licensed.
Keith was supposed to rebuild my front steps.This would require some demolition of the old brick
stoop,laying new footing+(to expand the footprint)and then building up from the footings around
the Oki steps.
Keith did come and do some very minor demolition and then he diamppeartd with a$1050 of my
money.Ids has not returned any of my calls asking for status. 1 started tracking my calls to him
around 10-18-04 although there were cnlls made to him before that date.
That's it.My next step is the NA PD.
