The following members were present and voting: Frank Serio, Jr., Chairman, Walter Soule, Raymond Vivenzio, Anna O'Connor and Louis Rissin. The hearing was correctly advertised in the Lawrence Eagle Tribune on October 31, and November 2, 1989 and all abutters were notified by regular mail. Upon a motion made by Mr. Rissin and seconded by Ms. O'Connor, the Board voted to DENY the variance as requested. The vote was as follows: In favor of denial: Mr. Serio, Mr. Vivenzio, Ms. O'Connor and Mr. Rissin, and opposed: Mr. Soule. The Board finds that the granting of this variance would be a detriment to the neighborhood and would substantially derogate from the intent and purpose of this bylaw. The Board finds no hardship, and that the granting of the variance would cause excessive congestion upon the locus. Dated this 16th day of November, 1989.
