The principal points upon which I base my applicW on are as.' follows :

Andover Savings Bank became the owner of the prem ses,,by (a Forgdlosure
Sale on October 6 , 1981. A plot plan was drawn by Cyr Engineering Services

Inc . , which disclosed the Zoning violation. Andover SAvings Bank has
entered into a Purchase & Sales Agreement and a literal enforcement of the
provisions of the By-law would involve substantial hardship not only
to Andover S,avings' Bank but also to the innocent .purchaszer for -value.
I agree to pay for advertising .19 newspaper an , incidental expenses*

Sec. . 1 APPLICATIOiN FORM
Every application for action by the Board shall be made on a form
approved by the Board. These forms shall be furnished by the clerk
upon request . Any communication purporting to be an application
shall be treated as mere notice of intention to. seek relief until
such time as it is made on the official application form. All in-
formation called for by the form shall be furnished by the applicant
in the manner therein prescribed.
Every application shall be' submitted with a list of "Parties in
Interest" which list shall include the petitioner , abutters , owners
of - land directly opposite on any public or private street or way ,
and abutters to the abutters within three hundred feet of the property
line of the petitioner as they appear on the most recent applicable
tax list , notwithstanding that the land of any such owner is located
in another city or town , the Planning Board of the city or _ town , and
the Planning Board of every abutting city or town .
* Every application shall be submitted with an application charge cost
in the amount of $25 . 00 . In addition ., the petitioner shall be respon -
sible for any and all costs involved in bringing the petition before
the Board. Such costs shall include mailing and publication , but
are not necessarily limited to these .

Dear Ms. White:
This letter is a formal request on behalf of the Andover Savings
Bank to withdraw their Petition for a Variance referred to above.
Could you please present this request to the Board of Appeals,
and let me know if the request has been allowed.
As you are aware, I have obtained a Form A approval on a new
plan and we do not need to go forward with this variance.
I also enclose herewith a check for $6. 00 payable to the Town of
North Andover to cover the cost of mailing the legal notice to
all necessary parties.
