The Ellsey family of 66 May Street has an above-ground pool which has been left uncovered and full of stagnant water for over 2 years. We have requested that they either cover the pool or drain it, but as of this writing, that has not happened. As you know, stagnant water breeds mosquito's and other insects which pose a health threat to the surrounding neighborhood. There are a lot of children in the neighborhood including those of the Ellsey family. We feel that our request is reasonable. We are not trying to cause trouble for this family because they are decent people. We are hopeful that the Board of Health will investigate this and request them to take immediate action. Thank you, Concerned Neighbors
