Landscaping adjacent to Waverly Road should be placed near the parking areas to allow for adequate vision clearance for the driveways. Fencing may be appropiate ad- jacent to the parking areas along the side lot lines. sas54 November 9, 1987 To: The Board From: Philip C. Parsons/Mary B. Parsons Re: Proposed Change of Dwelling from 2 family to 3 family at 671 Waverley Road, North Andover Because of previously scheduled commitments we are unable to attend this meeting. We oppose the plan to change the dwelling at 671 Waverley Road from a two-family to a three-family for the following reasons: 1. The continued change of zoning in adjacent properties from residential to commercial/business historically has had a negative impact on the value of property where single family dwellings are presently located. This has to stop! No one would ever invite adjacent properties to be subject to zoning changes that would devalue your own investment. 2. We desire to keep what beauty and natural setting we now enjoy. Preparing for a 3 family dwelling means preparation through destruction of nature to provide adequate facilities such as off street parking etc. We would prefer things to remain as they are. 3. A three family dwelling will solicite tenants who have no common interest or share with the goals of those in the local community who come from single family dwellings. This is one of the reasons good community planning does not allow single family dwellings mixed with multi -family units. Continuing to allow the practice of rezoning only hurts -the single family home owners. In fact, we can only lose if these changes are allowed to become reality.
