Chapter 40A, Section 5, the North Andover Planning Board will hold a public hearing as follows: Purpose of Public Hearing: To amend the Town of North Andover Zoning Bylaw, so as to create a new Section 8.10 — Lot/Slope Requirements which requires slopes exceeding 33% (3:1) over a horizontal distance of 30 feet as measured perpendicular to the contour on a tract or parcel of land intended or proposed for subdivision or on a building lot to remain undisturbed unless granted a special permit by the Planning Board . All areas with natural slopes exceeding 25% (4:1) over a horizontal distance of 40 feet as measured perpendicular to the contour on a tract or parcel of land intended or proposed for subdivision or development, or on a lot intended for building purposes, shall be excluded from the calculation of the minimum lot area required for the applicable zoning district .
