Dear Sirs
A public hearing was held by the -Hoard of Appeals on Jammq 14g 1974 upon
application of JOSVW J. FLY IIN uhe requested a Special Peron under Section
4.122 (14) of the Zoning 9F-i.aw so as to porsdt the coMersion of the third
fluor to another apartment; located at 70.72 Pleasant Street. The following
members were present ad voting: Prank S•riog Jr.g Chsi: nal Dr. Eugens A. `
Selivesu, Clerks Louis DlFrusnio, William R. Salome anld'Associate Member
Altred B. Frirrellso Esq. who sat in place of Meyer Arthur R. Drwmwod.
The hearing was advertised in -the LKrenee•Eagle-Tribune on Dec. 29, 1973 and
Jan. S# 1974. All •abutters were duly notified by regalar wail.
Mr. and Ib -s. Plynnl appeared in their own behalf and oVIsined they wanted to
convert the third floor of the dwelling to another apertwenti WMch v=2d then
wake five apartments. Bldg. Inspector Charles foster said he Impacted the
premisos and explained that floor plans Mould not be necessary for the Mork that
is to be done; that the rocs sites will not be changed. There is a large vacant
area of land which would provide more then anongh rose for parking. Mr. Poster's
letter of Jen. 14th made several suggestions as to fire safety requirementep etee
There was no opposition to the petitioni there rens no abutters present.
Dr. Beliveau made a nation to take the petition under advisement and that the
Hoard view the premises= Mr. Salems seconded the motion and the vote was uneniaous.
At the Doardts meeting held on Psbruary 11, 19749 at which all of the ease member*
were present, further discussion was held on the petition. Atty. Prisslle wads a
motion to Grant the special pernit subject to the conditions as discussed= Mr,
Salome seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
The conditions are as follows:
1. Sight paved parking spaces.

Dear Sir:
A public hearing was held by the -Board of Appeals on January 144 1974 upon
application of J05VH J. FLYNN who requested a Special Permit under Section
4.122 (14) of the Zoning Bl -Law so at to peradt the conversion of the t"
floor to another apartment; located at 70-72 Pleasant Street. The follawing
members were present and voting: Prank Serio, Jr., Chaimant Dr. Eugene A.
Selivesu, Clerk; Levis DiFruscio, Milliam A. Salome and'Associate :!ember
Alfred S. Frizellej Esq. who sat in place of Member Arthur a. Drummond.
OThe hearing was advertised in -the Lawrence"Ingte-Tribune on Dec. 29g 1973 and
Jan. Sr 1074. All -abutters were duly notified by regular mail.
Mr. and Mrs. Flynn appeared in their own behalf and explained they wanted to
convert the third floor of the dwelling to another apartments which would then
make five apartments. Bldg. Inspector Charles foster said he inspected the
premises and' explained that floor plans would not be necessary for the worst that
is to be done; that the roam sites will not be changed. There is a large vacant
area of land which would provide more than enough roofs for parking. Mir. Foster's
letter of Jen. 14th made several suggestions as to fire safety requirements, etc.
There was no opposition to the petitions there were no abutters present.
Dr. 9eliveau made a motion to take the petition under advisement and'that the
Board view the premises; Mr. Salemme seconded the motion and the vote was urtanirnous.
At the Board's meeting held on February 11, 19740 at which all of the same members
were present, further discussion was held on the petition. Atty. Friselle made a
motion to Grant the special permit subject to the conditions as discussed; Mr.
Salemme seconded the motion and the vote was unadmous.
The conditions are as follows:
1. Eight paved parking spaces.
