In accordance with M.G.L. c. 111, §§ 3 and 127A; 105 CMR 440.000: Minimum Standards for Developed Family
Type Camp Grounds (State Sanitary Code, Chapter VI); 105 CMR 435.000: Minimum Sanitation for Swimming Pools
(State Sanitary Code, Chapter V); 105 CMR 445.000: Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches (State Sanitary Code,
Chapter VII); 105 CMR 590.000: Minimum Sanitation Standards for Food Establishments (State Sanitary Code
Chapter X); I conducted an inspection of Harold Parker State Forest on August 8, 2012.at 9:40 a.m. accompanied by
Sandra Libby, Forest and Park Supervisor and Amy Riordan, Environmental Health Inspector of the Community

Observations and Recommendations
➢ Recommend cleaning insects and arachnids from playground equipment as needed
➢ The Department recommends that all female bathroom stalls be equipped with trash receptacles for feminine
hygiene products
➢ Hot water temperature measured 1350F in handwash sinks at Comfort Station 2 in men's bathroom. Hot water
temperature range for handwash sinks is 110°F to 130°F.
➢ Hot water temperature measured 116°F in showers at Comfort Station 2 in women's bathroom. Hot water
temperature range for showers is 100°F to 112°F.
