Dear Mr. Long:
The Board of Appeals held a public hearing on Monday evening,
February 8, 1982 upon the application of Lance and Mary McComish.
The hearing was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on Jan-
uary 21 and 28, 1982 and all abutters were notified by regular
mail. The following members were present and voting: Frank Serio,
Jr., Chairman; Alfred E. Fri zelle, Esq., Vice -Chairman, Richard J.
Trepanier, Esq., Clerk; Augustine W. Nickerson; and Walter F. Soule.
The petitioners seek a Special Permit under Section 7.8, Par. 2 of
the Zoning By Laws so as to permit the construction of a single
family dwelling on a lot having less than the required area on the
premises known as Lots 159 and 160, Jetwood Street.
The petitioners' attorney, Lawrence Rossi, presented evidence showing
that the lots were recorded at the Registry of Deeds by a plan dated
in 1906. The petitioners purchased the lots and desire to construct
a single family dwelIino in an area having similar sized lots with
some smaller sized lots having dwellings thereon.
Upon a motion made by Mr Frizelle and seconded by Mr. Nickerson,
the Board voted unanimously to tyrant the Special Permit under
Section 7.8, Paragraph 2 of the Zoning By Law.

and the lot will have at least 10,000 square feet. The Special
Permit is subject to the condition that only a single family
dwelling be constructed thereon.
The Board further finds that the proposal will not create a
nuisance and is in conformity with the intent and,purpose of
the Zoning By Law.

I am writing this letter in order to obtain an extention for our
'Special Variance' we obtained in February, 1982. I have been told
our variance was good only for two years and the expiration date is
this coming February, 1984. Due to the fact that I have been attending
Nursing School with the idea of saving more money, we have been unable
to begin building. We are hoping to obtain an extention to our Variance
for another six months.
I understand there will be meetings on January 16 and February 13.
We appreciate your consideration on this matter.

second floor of the Torn Hall.

Sec. 1 APPLICATION FORM
Every application for action by the Board shall be made on a form
approved by the Board. These forms shall be furnished by the clerk
upon request. Any coimunication purporting to be an application
shall be treated as mere notice of intention to seek relief until
such time as it is made on the official application form. All in-
formation called for by the form shall be furnished by the applicant
in the manner therein prescribed.
Every application shall be submitted with a list of "Parties in
Interest" which list shall include the petitioner, abutters, owners
of land directly opposite on any public or private street or way,.
and abutters to the abutters within three hundred feet of the property
line of the petitioner as they appear on the most recent applicable
tax list, notwithstanding that the land of any such owner is located
in another city or town, the Planning Board of the city or town, and
the Planning Board of every abutting city or town.
* Every application shall be submitted with an application charge cost
in the amount of $25.00. In addition, the petitioner shall be respon-
sible fo'r any and all costs involved in bringing the petition before
