OBJECTIVE
At this time I am interested in joining a company that can offer me a productive and expanding future in
the roofing industry. I am 36 years old and have been in the commercial/industrial roofing industry for 14 years. I
have been a roofing foreman for eleven of my fourteen years in the field. I am young and ambitious and
interested in furthering my career. If given the opportunity to become a Supervisor for your company I know the
experience I have already acquired in my career will enable me to be a reliable, efficient, and very productive
Supervisor for your company.
QUALIFICATIONS
For over fourteen years I have been working within the commercial/industrial roofing industry. During this
time I have learned many different roofing systems and their specifications such as Heat Weld, Built Up, EPDM,
Modified, Shingles and Slate. I am skilled in systems such as Firestone, Hydro -Tech, Johns Mansville, Fibertite,
Carlisle, Versico and GAF as well as others. My position as a foreman has led me to work with many field
supervisors, inspectors, and architects. I have been able too work with them to resolve any issues they have
brought to my attention quickly and efficiently. I have extensive leadership, organizational, and field skills due to
my experiences in the service and holding a foreman's position for most of my roofing career. I have run many
crews always taking pride in my work, leadership and production. Working with commercial and industrial roofing
has led me to interact with almost every trade in the construction business. I am well versed in OSHA's high
safety standards and take safety seriously. I can understand and apply the architectural aspects of blueprints.
This allows me to coordinate details with contractors from the variety of construction trades working on each job.
My field experience combined with my problem solving skills will enable me to make the transformation from
foreman to supervisor a success.
