Tobacco Policy follow-tip issues with regard to private organizations and clubs Dr.MacMillan requested that his notes/minutes be entered into the official record as minutes of the September hearing that the Board of Health conducted on the issue of tobacco policy with regard to private clubs. The North Andover Licensing Commission chose not to deal with this issue,and passed it back on to the Board of Health. Dr. MacMillan stated that lie thinks that the smoking policy within this private club is strictly art internal membership issue, and the conflict is a result of internal strife within the organization itself. Motion: Mr. Fixler inade a Inotion to take no action on the issues regarding smoking at the VFW based on the evidence at band. There is no current e"'PloYce vs. c" ployer issue at this time. The one and only employee does not want to have a regulation against smoking. Dr. MacMillan seconded the motion. All were in favor of taking 110 action, Dr. Trowbridge offered to send a letter to the commander of the VFW. The Board of Health is not in favor of smoking, but in the future,the Board of Health still has authority to revoke smoking privileges. V. NEW BUSINESS A.
