RE: Planning Board Meeting August 21, 2012
DATE: August 16, 2012
Folks,
I will not be at the Planning Board meeting – as you can see by my empty chair if you
are reading this as the meeting begins. But not to worry, there is only one item on the agenda:
MetroPCS Boston Hill, Renewal of an existing Wireless Special Permit at 5 Boston Hill.
This application is for a renewal of a facility that was originally permitted on August 18, 2009. This is a renewal only – no change in equipment.
I have drafted a decision that is
in your packet. The only item that was not available to me when I drafted the decision was the letter from Mark Hutchins. I talked to Mark on Wednesday August 15 and he told me that
he would have a letter ready in time for the meeting, so you should have that letter at the meeting.
The draft decision does make reference to Mark’s letter and I assumed that he would
not find any issues with the application. The decision will need to be changed to reflect the correct date of the letter. Bill McQuade, representing MetroPCS, will be at the meeting.
The
applicant has filed all the necessary documentation including, RF report, noise study (from 2009) and FCC Radio Station Authorization. I didn’t think it would be necessary to file a
structural report for the Boston Hill site.
Other Business: There is no other business other than meeting minutes!
A few things to note:
The PB meetings scheduled for September 18
and November 6 will be cancelled because there are elections to be held on both days.
The next agenda includes (so far):
Appleton St. Preliminary PRD
Watershed Special Permit for a new
dwelling unit on Great Pond Road
An ANR for a Dale St. property
The site visit for the proposed 40B to be filed by Lou Minicucci for 16 Berry St. will take place on August 22 at 10 AM
at the site.
See you in September!
Judy
