Implementation of this plan will result in a decrease of 38 square feet impervious area, since the area in which the garage is to be built is currently paved. As such, there should be no significant degradation of the quality or quantity of water in or entering in Lake Cochichewick through implementation of this plan. 2. Given the location of the existing house on the lot, no reasonable alternative for the structure exists, except to locate the addition within the non-disturbance zone. 3. Given the current impervious and proposed impervious conditions, no special provisions for recharge of surface waters have been provided nor do we feel they are, at this time, warranted. However, during construction, erosion control will be provided. Given the above, please do not hesitate to contact me should you have questions or comments. Very truly yours, MERRIMACK ENGINEERING SERVICES Daniel Koravos, P.E. Project Engineer cd
