RE: 59 Bonny Lane—Proposed Garage in the Watershed District
DATE: November 8,1999
The applicant proposes an addition to a garage to be located within the non-disturbance zone in the
Watershed District.
The total proposed addition to the garage is 612 feet, with 46 square feet of that total not currently over
pavement.
In addition, the applicant is proposing to remove 84 square feet of bituminous concrete. Therefore, the
there will actually be a gain in pervious area at this property.
Silt fence if proposed along the edge of work.
There are wetlands designated as "approximate edge of wetlands" on the plan. The engineer should
specify who delineated these wetlands along with their credentials so that we can confirm this work is not
being done in the Conservation Zone.
The proposal is acceptable to the Town's Consulting Engineer, whose report I am also attaching for your
review.
However,if the zoning district information provided is correct it appears as though the addition will require
a variance from the side setbacks of 30' as the closest points to the sides are 29.8 feet and 18.4'. I will
confirm this with the Building Commissioner prior to the Planning Board meeting.
