The patio surface area shall be kept clean of organic material(i.e. leave debris, landscaping planters). Ensure no organic material from surrounding landscaping areas will runoff across the patio surface during large storm events. Remove any grass clippings from mowing activities with a leaf blower. Snow shall be removed with the use of a shovel or walk behind snow blower. Snow removal equipment should have rubber or nylon tips to avoid disrupting the pavers. Use of de-icing 1 materials is not recommended. 1 Regular maintenance includes: • Sweep patio with push broom and use a low-pressure water hose to clean the patio area. { Avoid removing joint filler during regular cleanings. • Replace joint filler with clean aggregate when joint void depth exceeds 1/a". • If ponding occurs,the pavers and bedding course shall be removed in affected area.
