EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Executive Session convened at 7:00 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: The following were present: Rosemary Connelly Smedile, Chairman;Wendy Wakeman;
James Xenakis; Donald Stewart; Mark J.T. Caggiano; Mark Rees, Town Manager; Ray Santilli, Assistant
Town Manager and Town Counsel Thomas Urbelis.
The Board of Selectmen was individually polled and each voted unanimously to move into Executive
Session. Vote approved 5-0.
Pending Litigation.
Town Counsel, Thomas Urbelis asked the board if they still wanted to go forward with the contempt of
court trial against the Technical Training Foundation regarding Campion Hall scheduled for August 6,
2004.
Mark Caggiano made a MOTION, seconded by James Xenakis, to authorize the Town Manager to settle
for the cost of legal fees and expenses leading up to contempt action. Vote approved 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Wendy Wakeman made a MOTION, seconded by Donald Stewart, to move out of Executive Session.
Vote approved 5-0.
