Plisinski Litigation
Town counsel Tom Urbelis suggested that he knew attorneys in Boston that sue attorneys and
with the Board's permission he would bring a possible law suit against the firm of Kopelman
and Paige as suggested by the Conservation Commission Board.
Wendy Wakeman made a MOTION, seconded by Mark Caggiano,to authorize Town Counsel to
seek an attorney about a potential lawsuit. Vote approved 5-0.

Pending Litigation — Plisinski
Per the Board's authorization and direction Town Counsel Tom Urbelis spoke with Attorney
^ Gordon Katz of the firm of Holland and Knight LLP about a potential lawsuit against the law firm
of Kopelman and Paige with regard to the issues raised by the plaintiffs in the Plisinski case.
Attorney Katz said his firm would have a conflict so he could not go any further.
Tom Urbelis said he could contact another firm and pursue this;this must be done before June
due to the three-year statue of limitations. Town Counsel asked the Board's direction on this
matter.
James Xenakis made a MOTION, seconded by Mark Caggiano, not to pursue a lawsuit against
the Town's former law firm of Kopelman and Paige. Vote approved 5-0.
