Hi Monica and Jean,
Dennis Griecci from Andover Consultants has agreed to be our Independent Monitor for the project here at Rolling
Ridge. He will be sending me the paperwork today which I will forward on to you as soon as I receive it.
QUESTION: Does HE need to be present for the meeting on 511 at 10am? If you could please let me know today so I
can be assured he will be present.

This Letter of Agreement is between the the above named Independent Monitor and the North Andover Planning
Board for monitoring services to be provided at the above mentioned Project Address and in accordance with
the conditions and restrictions stated by the Planning Board in it's Decision dated 04-05-18 , a
copy of that Decision has been provided to the Independent Monitor. , (Initials of Independent
Monitor) By initialing, the Independent Monitor acknowledges receipt of the Decision and an understanding of
the conditions/restrictions set by the North Andover Planning Board.
The Independent Monitor also acknowledges and agrees that he/she is providing monitoring services for the
benefit of the Town of North Andover and is not the project owner or applicant, and does not have a financial or
personal interest in the project. Further, the Independent Monitor understands that she/he may not act as the
project owner's agent, representative, partner, employee or joint-venturer on this project.
The Independent Monitor agrees to immediately report to the North Andover Planning Board, via the Town
Planner, any violations of the terms of the Decision listed above, as soon as observed or otherwise become
known to the Independent Monitor. This report is in addition to regularly scheduled monitoring reports.
The Independent Monitor understands that the failure to perform under this Letter of Agreement, to the
reasonable satisfaction of the North Andover Planning Board, will be grounds for said Independent Monitor to be
excluded in this role for any future projects which are within the jurisdiction of the North Andover Planning Board.

Activity: Driveway paving
Comments:
Upon arrival driveway areas to be paved were graded. The first course was placed and was being roller
compacted at the lower driveway area. During the visit, the upper driveway area was being paved and
compacted. Erosion barriers were in place and operating properly. No erosion or work beyond barriers
observed. Upon departure,both driveway areas had first course of pavement s placed and compacted.

Activity: Driveway paving
Comments:
Upon arrival upper driveway at Great Pond Road was being paved and compacted. Final pavement in
the lower driveway area was completed. Erosion barriers were in place and operating properly. No
erosion or work beyond barriers observed. Upon departure, the paving in both driveway areas was
completed and Contractor working on spreading gravel along the pavement shoulders.

Comments/Recommendations: Completed driveway width is 12 feet except where it flares to meet
Great pond Road. Grading of swales is to commence on Monday May 14.

erosion was observed beyond barriers yet.

• Recommend that straw wattle at low end of upper swale be put back in place and staked.
• Any damaged wattles should be repaired.
• Lower swale shall be seeded. Recommend upper swale be seeded and mulched.
• Recommend shoulders (both sides)be graded and compacted to accept traffic.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for the update. Greg and our staff will repair the damaged wattles and put back the missing wattles at the
end of the upper swale. Dana and his team from Adam Landscaping plan to seed in the coming week.
