Tree Removal
Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC#228
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 (L) of the.North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,Daniel
Gutman, applicant/home owner, filed for a small project for work proposed at 534 Boston Street,
North Andover. The proposed work includes removal of 7 trees within the 1 QO-Foot Suffer Zone
of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland as depicted on the herein referenced plan.Additional tree
removal is proposed but is outside the 100--foot Puffer Zone.
During the February 13, 2019 public meeting, the North Andover Conservation Commission voted
unanimously to approve this project. The project is approved only as it relates to the Conservation
Commission and any and all other approvals should be obtained by the applicant/home owner. The
applicant is responsible for determining property boundaries. All work shall conform to the
fallowing:

The following conditions are hereby mandated:
CONDITIONS:

1. Prior to the start of work the applicant shall ensure that the site contractor has reviewed the
Determination and is aware of the wetland resource area and the limits of the proposed work.
2. Prior to the tree removal, the applicant/homeowner will arrange a preconstruction meeting at
the site with the tree company and the Conservation Department to review and mark the
approved trees. '

3. No machinery will enter wetland resource areas or the 25-foot No-Disturbance Zone. Care shall
be taken to prevent damage to surrounding trees during removal of the approved trees.
4. Tree #4 on the project proposal shall only have the broken limb cut.
5, Tree #7 on the project proposal shall be cut to leave 10-12' of the trunk for habitat purposes.
6. All tree limbs, brush, and other debris shall be taken off site and disposed of properly (Cyr
Recycling Center) or stored outside of the 100'Buffer Zone.
7. As mitigation for the proposed tree removal, the applicant will plant 4-6 native shrubs along the
wetland in front of the house and chive (see attached list). Please provide the Conservation
Department with a list of pro-posed species prior to planting
8. Once tree removal is complete, all disturbed areas will be stabilized with mulch or other
approved means.
9. Upon completion of the approved project and site stabilization, please contact the Conservation
Department for a final inspection.
10. This permit shall_exI1ire six months from the date of issuance.
