HomeMy WebLinkAbout20190404 Application - Waiver - 41 BEAR HILL ROAD 3/27/2019 Eric &Jennifer Jones 41 Bear Hill Rd North Andover MA 01845 March 27, 2019 Planning Department Town of North Andover Town Hall 120 Main St North Andover MA 01845 Dear Planning Department: We are requesting a waiver from obtaining a Watershed Protection District special permit for the porch conversion project planned for our property at 41 Bear Hill Rd North Andover MA 01845. As shown on the construction plans, the scope of the project involves converting an existing 3 season screened in porch into habitable living space. The construction includes maintaining the existing roof structure which will not alter the water run-off from the roof. Additionally, non-invasive Diamond Pier DP-75 footings are being specified which require minimal excavation (< 12") so as to not disturb the ground soil. There will be no topographical changes to the property. As requested by the town planning department, proper erosion controls will be installed to prevent any ground water from entering the watershed during construction. We understand and accept the town planning department inspecting the work area during the project to assure compliance.
