Dear Planning Board,
I would like to request a waiver of special permit. I recently added a small
temporary gravel driveway close to the conservation line. I didn't realize it was
an issue until the town informed me. I am trying to make things right with the
Watershed Bylaws. I'd like to propose moving the current gravel driveway to the
right side of my house, and return the temporary driveway to grass. The
proposed driveway would be 210 feet from wetland marks, that puts us in the
non-discharge zone. The new gravel driveway would be, from my street
property line, roughly 40 ft long by 12ft wide, and all gravel. We will not alter the
topography of my property. We will not remove any trees in the process of
installing the new gravel driveway. We will set up proper erosion control and
comply with all rules and regulations you request. The project will take one day.
