Please find attached an engineers certification letter from Hayes Engineering, Inc. dated February 14, 2019
being submitted relative to your Watershed Special Permit review comment#2 below. The original on one
copy will be mailed to your office for your file. I believe that with this submission, all comments made
February 5th as a result of your WSP review have been addressed. Let nee know if there is anything else
needed for the WSP We look forward to discussing this Special permit application with the Planning Board
members at their meeting on March 5th.

Dear Ms. Gregoire,

In accordance with watershed Protection District Section 195-4.20(C)(3) of the North Andover Zoning Bylaw,
the undersigned certifies that the proposed driveway and utility work being proposed in association with a new
single family house at Lot 3 Great Pond Road will not result in any significant degradation of water quality or
quantity for waters entering Lake Chichewick. This certification is based upon the following project stormwater
management features:
1. Driveway will be surfaced with pervious crushed stone and paver materials, allowing infiltration and
treatment of stormwater runoff.
2. Planting areas and other landscaping will be installed as part of the project, allowing allowing for
stormwater runoff infiltration and treatment.

3. Runoff from the house roof will be captured and directed into a"Stormtech" recharge chamber system.
4. Protect site is located more than 400 feet from Lake Chichewick and the common driveway, Great
Pond Road and wetlands are present between the project site and the Lake, presenting additional
opportunities for stormwater management.
