This year's advisor, Miss Deborah Fur- nari, helped to bring about many of these changes, especially the drive to develop crowd participation at games and rallies. During the football season the cheerleaders introduced the - "Spirit Stick," which was awarded to the class showing the most schooi spirit at the various games. Outstanding progress was made however, by the many undergraduate players on the team, which makes the outlook for next year very promising. Although the team had an outstanding first half (11-1 record), and seemed sure to clinch the conference cham- pionship, the loss of high scoring Lee Zagorski due to illness, seriously weakened the team < both offensively and defensively. ` The "Knights" ended the season with an im- pressive 14-3 record and once again qualified for the Tech Tourney. In addition, the team entered and won the Billerica Memorial Girls' Basketball Tournament. Two North An- dover players, Patti Zahoruiko and Annmarie Kennedy, were selected for the All-Tournament team; and Patti was voted the MVP award.
