The Knights mounted an incredible 50- 21 half-time lead, and breezed to an 81-47 victory, with Sid Peterson (19 pts.) and Jerry Gordon (14 pts.) leading the offense. Coach Bob Licare's 15th year at NAHS proved to be his best yet, as he not only received strength i1g0 from his starting five but a talent-packed bench ' with standouts like Tom Enright, Brian Smith, Tom Teichman, and Kevin Smith.
