The report was accepted unanimously by a motion made by Bill C. and seconded

Statistics
The statistics were reviewed. The following comments were made:
Guest Speaker is a new line stern
A motion was made by Maria R. and seconded by Priscilla C to accept the Statistic
Deport and it passed unanimously.
New Business
. discussion was held regarding the funds in the CA bank account. The original intent
of these funds was to be used for center activities. Irene is requesting $500.00 to stock a
pantry for the Fresh Table. She asked that this be made out to the Friends as a specific
line item. A motion was made by Margaret S. and seconded by Joe S. It passed
unanimously.
Betty P brought up the need for an affordable Adult Day Health program in town. There
was discussion about the best way to move forward on this topic. gene recommended
that board members look at Andover's program. Irene will follow up on the Adult Day
Support program in Swansea. Donna will beep track on the cases she receives needing
this level of care. The issue will be revisited next meeting.
Irene reported on the statewide COA Senior Center conference she attended. She
commented that there is a big push to get seniors COA to have a presence at Town
Meeting. She also reported on the CDC recommendations against hugging and shaping
during flu season.
Miscellaneous
Betty reminded board members to review the policy book for next meeting
Festival of Trees will tale place the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The
Friends will be handling all food. Where will be no white elephant tables.
oaxd Training will hopefully be provided on—site at the Center in the
near future.
motion to adjourn was made by John G and seconded by Bill C. and it passed
unanimously.
