On a motion :mmde by Mr. ~athaniel Stevens a vote of thanks was extended to Er. Ohickering,Moderator of the meeting, for his untiring services to the town in this capacity. Arthur L. Enlery, Henry D. Tho following motion was made and adopted by the meeting:- Membership of the Board of Public Welfare or of the School Committee shall nor, disqualify from employmen~ by either Board, and said Boards are authorized ~o fix the .compensation 'sf member employees, subject r,o ~he approval of the Selectmen; this action being taken under athorization of SectiGn 4-~ of Ohapter 41 of ~he ~cneral L~ws.
