Voted:not to accept as a gift from the teachers, supervisory staff and other employees of the School Department a ~ortion or all of a sum created by the deduction of either six percent or ten percent monthly of their salary payments in which sum in twelve months would probably total between $5000 and $9000, and which if accepted by the town could be used in meeting current appropriations of the town. Voted that the sum of three hundred dollars be taken from the appropriation made for General Naintenauce of the Street Department provided this street meets the requirements cf the Board of Survey and has been accepted as called for ~uder A~ticle 18 of'the warrant. ~ticle 2~. Voted to make no appropriation for Adams &venue as no plan of this way has been filed with the Board of Survey for its apprev~l.
