~'he ~oderator then ordered a ~es and ~o ballot vote to be taken
on ,the matter of confirming and re-enacting all votes appropriating
money,under Article 5, at the session of the meeting held ~arch
19~§.
The ~oderator apl~ointed the following persons to assi~4t in
taking and canvasing the vote: they were sworn by the l{oderator.

The vote on confirming and rg-~nacting all ~ot~s appropriating
money,taken at session of the Town ~eeting held march 16,193§, was
as follows:

the
Town Treasurer, in the name and behalf of the town, to sign, seal, ·
acknowledge and deliver a'deed or deeds, conveying to murray Dill
and Robert ~ilne, or their nominee, the p~rce! of land sold them
in 1924, under ~rticle l~, of the Warrant for the Annual Town
~eeting in ~hat yesm.
Article 19. Voted: that the tovm will sell and convey its
right, title and interest in and to that part of the way shovrn as
Oxford Street, to the west of its ~unction with Lincoln Street, or
release its right, therein, and authorize the Selectmen to make
such sale or release, for such price as the meeting or they may deem
reasonable; and authorize and empower the Town Treasurer in the name
land behalf of the town, to sign, seal, acknowledge and deliver a
deed or deeds giving effect to such action, as may be taken "'~".~r ~"'
under the foregoing authorization.
Article ~0. Voted to appropriate the sum of eight hundred
dollars to purchas~ a three quarter ton truck for the use of the
~oth Department.
Article ~l. Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of five
hundred eighty dollars for an automobile to replace the one now'
being used by the Town Infirmary.

.~rticle 22. Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of seven
hundred thirty-two dollars to purchase an automobile for the use of the
Police Department~
~ticle 2~. Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of three
thousand dollars to furnish materials and equipment for the extension
of the East Side Sewer on Phillips C~urt and Harkaw~y Road to Stevens
Street in conjunction with labor supplied by the ~'ede=al Emergency
Relief ~tnstration or other such Federal Agency; also that portion
of money appropriated under Article 14, of this warrant be added to
this project.
,~rticle 24. 7oted that the Town raise and appropriate the sum
of six hundred ninety dollars 'to purchase a one half ton truck for
the use of the Board o'f Public Works.
Article 25. ~oted to raise and appropriate the sum of eight
hundred dollars to instal this water main on Prospect Street,provided
the or, nets of the houses served furnish a satisfactory guarantee to
pay four per cen~ of the cost of for a perdod of ~en yearsg
.~rticle 26. Voted to lay th~s water main provided the owners-
serve~.furnish a satisfactory guaranzee mo pay four per cenm of the
cost for a period of ten years. 'l'he amount appropriated
being held over frmmvote taken under Article 25, of the 1934 Warrant.

~rticle 30. Voted: that the Board of Public Works act as a
.committee on the care of public parks and triangles.
Voters from precincts one and three were admitted a~ the
main entrance of the hall; precinct two an the ~ain Street entrance
and precinct four a~ the 0sgood Street entrance.
The voting list were used in checking voters into .the hall and
the following persons assisted: for precinct two ~ary Cassidy and
and Florence St. Pierre; precinct four Irving Ho~es and Fred Crosdale;
precinct one and three Alfred ~arneau and Fernley Wilcox.

To either of .the Constables of the Town of North Andover:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Siassachusetts: you are
hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of North Andover,
qualified to vote in Town Affairs: to meet in the Town~{all: in said
North Andover, on TUESDAY, the thirtieth day.of April, .193%, at seven
o'clock P. M, then and there to act upon the following business:-
Article 1. 'To see if the town will vote to raise and' appropriate
the sum of five thousand dollars,supplimentary to the 19~ appropriation
for street lighting, for the purpose of providing for proper maintenance
of the street lighting service. Petition of Andrew F. Coffin & others.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting true and
attested copies thereof at the ~own~all and at five or more public
places'in each voting precinct. Said copies to be posted not more than
fifteen days nor less than ten days before the time of holding said
meeting.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your
doings thereon, to ~he Town Clerk: at the time of holding said meeting.
