Article 1
At a legal meeting of the inhabitants of the Town of North
Andover, qualified to vote in Elections and Town Affairs,convened in
the Engine House in voting precinct one;the Merrimack Schoolhouse in
voting precinct two; the Union Schoolhouse in voting precinct three
and the Town Hall in voting precinct four, agreeably to the require-
ments of the foregoing warrant, business,was tarnsacted and votes for
the officers named in the ballot were as follows:-

North Andover, Mass.
Dear Sir:
We the undersigned, being ten or more qualified votersof
North Andover, hereby declare that we have reason to believe and do
believe that the records of the election officers of Precinct 1,2,3,and
of said North Andover, for the election of a Highway Surveyor are
erroneous. That votes co~nted for one or another of the candidates for'
said office of Highway Surveyor should have been counted for John H..
Milnes and that votes were counted as blanks that should have been
counted for John H. Milnes.
We believe that a recoont of votes cast in Hhese precincts
will affect the oloctlon of the cand!dste for the office of said
Himhway Surveyor.
