To the Board of Registrars of Voters or the Board of Election
Commissioners of the Coun_~_un__tlr~of Essex_~__.~.~.
We, the undersigned voters of Ward of the Town of
North Andover represent that we ha~e reason to believe and
do believe that the records or copies of records made by the
Election Officers of said War~.. of the ballots cast at the
Election on November 5, 1940 for the office of County Commissioner
for a term of our years are erroneous in this respect~ That
Frederick Butler, Jsmes D. Bentley and Michael F. Oonway were
credited with more votes than were cast for them and 'that J. Fred
Msmning was credited with less votes ths4u were cast for b~ and
we believe that a recount of the ballots cast will affect the'
election of
Frederick Butler
James D. Bentley
5. Fred Manning
Michael F. Conway
candidates for the office of County Commissioner for a term of
four years voted for at such election.
We therefore ask that the votes cast for such candidates
for the office of County Commissioner for a term of four years
be recounted, including all used, spoiled s_nd absentee ballots.
